LONG STORY SHORT

Long Story Short • 1 of 3 • Girl meets Boy and the love flows fast. But neither knows their history. A love story. Repeated across time. To go forward this time, they’re forced back. Back to break the cycle of pain. The pain that broke love before. Blocked from speaking. Barred from seeing. Love is hidden. Deep in the dark. But you can’t kill love. It beats until it breaks through. Spoken by one that won’t stop, seen by one who can’t stop. Two communicating as one through the lines love drew between them. The lines that draw them back. Back for a love that won’t stop. Beating. Repeating. Healing the wounds it can’t abide. Transforming all in each. In time. Equally. Even if hidden in one for a time. Don’t stop, you’ll see. The smile + love shining below the blocks. Go from there to see where this story goes next. 🤍🤍

Long Story Short • 2 of 3 • In the middle of it, the two who were blocked are turned, walking opposite directions down one path. Deep into the blood of their own hearts. Held in bodies made of an energy that shares the same shape as the oldest shapes made in this world. What you don’t see, what was there before, are the tangled generations of bloodied veins. Ones that the one pulled out to show all what lives on inside. Seen to be cleared. Never seen out in the open in the other, the one who didn’t show the pain that was the same. That was healed. Replaced by love, the purest kind, the one they were made from, the one that can now be seen. Here in Xs that mark them. Her vision, lookin’ like an x-ray, sees the love in him. Even when, head down, he can’t see what she can.

Farther along is the same one again, made of blood that’s become lighter, carried in a body that’s rising. Right before the two stand tall together, heads high, marking their spot with the X they make together.

Look up now. Floating along above, a little balloon is there leading the way forward, following the direction that X in the sky beams.

Down to that shuttle. You know, the part of the ship that’s created to come home. Carrying the two within where they belong. Not just carried along, welded in, to be sure neither will ever fall.

Oh and see the W in the road? Way back. It was there. From the beginning. A sign that said, “It’ll be hard along the way, but don’t worry, Love. We Win.” 🤍🤍

Long Story Short • 3 of 3 • The final season brings these sticks made of love. Throwing no stones. Only carrying smiles. The three on the left appeared first on their own. Before them, I’ve said I couldn’t draw a stick figure to save my life. Know I was never a kid who drew them, and I was never one to imagine a scene like this one, so I wouldn’t have thought to add them. But when they came, I went where they led. Amazed when I saw how the two, in stepping forward towards each other, create one heart.

Then I chose to add more, even though it added a complexity that created a challenge. Didn’t matter. All who are part of this, who are loved with a pureness that can’t be challenged, are part of this picture. There’s the boy who came first, who needed to be put first, to break the pain, to keep it from cycling down. Over to the right, he’s jumping for love now. Then there’s the pup that can’t be forgotten, who doesn’t ever want to be left behind. Sent to bring love where love couldn’t reach. He did his job right and is right there in the center, where he’ll always be, where he loves to squeeze in to be cuddled. All under the love sitting high in the sky that led the way, all the way, home.

Even with all the adds, the simplicity of the sticks stuck. A simplicity intended to bring this love back to its true and innocent nature.🤍🤍
