Cross off the ‘to do’, change ‘plan’ to ‘want’, and don’t worry about there being one. I love Mary Oliver’s quote, but I wanted to take the pressure off, to create a piece that helps one think into what you really want out of this life. A piece to ponder. Life, but really…Love. All kinds. What you love to do. Where you love to be. Who you love most…starting with yourself, adding a partner if that’s what you want, expanding out to whatever type of family you want to create. Whatever you want. All held in what you see when this LOVE is flipped…a home built with, in and for it.

Take the roles as they fit, flip ‘em when need be, and read this as…when you and/or the one you love gets torn apart and eaten away at, keep on loving them and yourself. Love is the band-aid, the salve, the solution and the reason…the only one. Love. It can survive, despite everything. Not just survive…evolve to become indestructible, immune to all in the world that’s thrown at it. Shakespeare knew, he understood the power of love. Those are his words in the back. From the same play. One where he put his lovers through it, then let them live…together…happily.

Either way you go, you can give zero fucks what anyone thinks about you. Be who you want. Do what you want. Love who you want. Write your own story, however you want. Completely start over. Go from zero to a hundred, at any age, and not give a fuck what anyone thinks. As someone who’s given those; I know it’s not easy to not care. To not feel the judgment. Especially your own. But it is imperative to let go of that if you want to write yourself into a bigger, happier story. Those lines in back are for that. For someone who’s ready to write their next novel.

When your Soul keeps telling you who you are, you eventually have to believe them…to bloom into who you are.
And those emojis intertwined below? Modern day hieroglyphics. Here’s a few of the stories these ones tell…
No glass half empty here, this Queen knows how to keep hers full. And there’s two because tho she can, cause she’s learned how, she’d rather not drink alone. Don’t think she’ll have to. Two lightning bolts – hers and the energy of another – came through. The second igniting the heart connected to the crown embedded in her core. A crown that can never be knocked off. One that doesn’t need to be worn, to be seen, to be true. Let’s back up a sec…this Queen hears and follows the sound of the music her Soul sends. It resonates deep with the notes woven within. This says that + a lot more. I’ll mention one other. There are five crowns. Hard to see here, but they’re there. One for each role this Queen plays. Would say to perfection but we know that doesn’t exist. So let’s say “…for her joy.”

Two that look like flowers but aren’t. Strokes of color symbolizing the energy that exists between two people. Two who are eye-to-eye. With the soul, the spirit, the love they are…all that’s contained within our frames…ready to pour out to and for the other. The energy, the emotions within both swirling, expanding, dripping. The energy of desire. With that, the walls that were built have cracked and are crumbling. Lines behind drawn, erased, and re-drawn bigger. To carry the weight of words ready to be spoken, waiting to be heard.

These can be seen as two different ways of being, of loving. For the one who has really big feeling and feels their depth most of the time, this flag of their love is intense, with choppier seas that reach for the sky. Their feelings are out there for all to see. The other is symbolic of the one whose feelings share the same depth and color but aren’t seen. Undiluted, their’s still run deep, calmer and consistent, below the surface. Neither way right nor wrong, both are beautiful in their own way.
Then when you look even deeper, you see the two share a whole lot of the same kind of depth. Almost identical really.

Two that belong together. Drawn to each other across time, space, and distance. Together creating the love they share, their foundation.

There’s one big HI full of shared excitement built up and waiting behind these two. If you’re older, you get it. How much is baked into that first hello. The history that can tangle you up in the fear of it repeating, but overcoming that…the hope. For more. That comes with knowing yourself and what you need better than ever before.

“Your task is not to seek love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” Rumi knew what he was talking about. And once we do what he said? We’ve made space. For harmony, wisdom, and understanding. To fill us. And with that? Love. A whole lot of love. From the Soul to the core. That’s what you’ll feel. Now that you’ve hearted (chosen) yourself, like your Soul did from the beginning.

It can take a while. But when you’re doing what you love — for yourself, or for/with whom you love — you keep going, and you eventually will break through. Then, you bloom. Especially when love feeds you, when it’s your foundation, your water, sun and soil. So let this piece be a reminder, a motivator, keep going — with, in, and for love.

When a storm hits, as they do, the devil tries to convince you that you can’t withstand it, but the Soul knows you can, you do, and comes in to counter the devil’s whispers. But you can’t go up against the devil alone. With the third layer on top of the first two, you see the Soul, or just as significant, a person…partner, friend, family…come to help. Which, all, both is true for you, doesn’t matter. Just know, when you’re deep in the storm, you’re not in it alone. And once your storm is over, once you don’t need to be reassured that you will withstand it? That layer with the two together is what you see…because who wants to see the devil still staring at them once the storm is over.

This comes from the soul that knows…you can move any mountain, any limit, at anytime, every time. You have, and you will again, even if when you’re in the middle of it, you don’t believe it. This will be there to remind and encourage you during those times. Then? Once you move it? You remove the top layer of this piece. To feel the satisfaction of seeing the crater, the dirt, the empty space where the mountain that no longer is, was. But this is life, and another mountain will come…one that you will move.

This says love survived, despite everything. Not only survived, transformed. Similar but different to what it was before. More intricate, more transparent. That 2 intertwined in the one flower? Signifies trust, if you’re spiritual. And if you’re not? Doesn’t matter. You can trust me, it’s baked in. It also signifies love for yourself and another. See how the same flower has an X linking it at the bottom? That’s for the first. A deep self-love. Then the heart there with the V in the middle and the curves at the top angling right? That’s love reaching out for the other. The flowers are here for them both. Oh and it’s blue skies all the way back cause the dark days are over.
